CETAL belongs to the National Institute of Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics – INFLPR Bucharest. It is integrated to the organisational structure of INFLPR and is directly subordinated to the Scientific Director of the Institute.

CETAL is organized as follow:

  • Scientific and Technical Board of CETAL lead by the Head of the Department

    Role:
    - Coordinate the CETAL facility;
    - Supervise the activity of the subordinated laboratories;
    - Decide the plan actions in order to ensure the achievement of the scientific objectives at CETAL;
    - Analyse and select the submitted proposals for accessing the CETAL facilities.

  • Laboratories

    1) Laboratory of High-Field Laser Physics - CETAL-PW;
    2) Laboratory of Laser Material Processing - LaMP;
    3) Photonic Investigations Laboratory - PhiL.

The support for activities at CETAL facility and for building maintenance are provided by an administrative staff including: Building Manager, Laser Safety Officer, Technicians, other staff, coordinated by the CETAL Head.
