Project title: Laser targets for ultraintense laser experiments / TARGET

• to design and fabricate 2D and 3D targets. Well established methods like 2D lithography, plasma etching and Pulse Laser Deposition (PLD) are used for planar targets. 3D Laser Lithography technique is developed for fabrication of complex 3D targets;
• to design and implement a device for alignment of the target substrates. The system will be configured to work at 0.1 Hz which is the repetition rate of the PW laser installed now at CETAL facility.

Phases and activities:
Year 1:
• 3D targets design and fabrication by 3D laser lithography.
Year 2:
• Design and realization of the targets alignement system.
Year 3:
• 2D targets fabrication.
• Development of alignment procedures in vacuum.

• proiecarea și fabricarea de ținte 2D și 3D. Tehnici precum litografia 2D, corodarea în plasmă, depunere pulsată laser sunt utilizate pentru fabricarea țintelor. Litografia laser 3D este folosită pentru fabricarea țintelor cu geometrie complexă 3D.
• proiectarea și implementarea unui dispozitiv de aliniere automată a țintelor. Sistemul va fi configurat să functioneze la frecvența de 0,1 Hz, frecveța de repetiție a sistemului CETAL-PW.

Etape și activități prevăzute:
Anul 1:
• Proiectarea și fabricarea țintelor 3D prin litografie laser 3D.
Anul 2:
• Proiectarea și realizarea dispozitivului de aliniere a țintelor.
Anul 3:
• Fabricare de ținte 2D.
• Dezvoltarea și testarea procedurilor de aliniere a țintelor în vid.
